Glashütte’s Senator Excellence Perpetual Calendar has been updated with a caliber 36-02 movement.
The Senator Excellence Perpetual Calendar is available in stainless steel with either an alligator strap or a steel bracelet and in red gold on a strap with either a pin buckle or a folding clasp. The case measures 42mm in diameter and 12.8mm thick. The dials on both models are silvered and have the same layout. The dial displays the date, day, moonphase, and leap year display. The big date display can be found at four o’clock, with the day and month displayed at 10 and two 0’clock, respectively. The moonphase is displayed in a subsidiary dial at seven o’clock. The handset is the familiar blued steel configuration you’ve seen on the Senator Excellence from last year, with the double-G at the end of the center seconds hand.
It is powered by the caliber 36-02 movement, which is a perpetual calendar built on top of the caliber 36 base.
The Senator Excellence Perpetual Calendar sells for USD23,800 in steel on the bracelet and USD22,300 in steel on the alligator strap, while in red gold with the clasp it is priced at USD37,100 and with the pin buckle at USD35,100.
