This is the G-SHOCK MR-G, which derives its name from “M” for “Majesty” and “R” for “Reality”. A metal hammering technique used to embellish the sword’s hilt guard, a part that fulfils both practical and decorative purposes, is adopted for MR-G.
The metal parts are treated with a hardened film coating, moreover, that reproduces a colour tone special to traditional metalworking.
