Thanks to classic car owner and professional emcee, KT Pillai we are able to share with you the pictures of last weekend Perak Classic Car Club (PCCC) members meeting with MY Classic Cars (MCC) members from around Malaysia at a classic car gathering at the Stadium Perak Car Park.
There was no drive planned and instead it was just a meeting of like minded people who love classic cars and to foster a closer relationship between members of both car clubs.
A varied range of 20 classic cars arrived in Ipoh on Saturday March 24th and the drivers had dinner with local club members & stayed at ‘M Roof’ Hotel. On Sunday morning, the two classic cars club members gathered at Stadium Perak Car Park area and had a great time chatting & discussing about the engines, spare part, road tax reduction and their love of the automobile when it had character and substance.
There were over 45 classic cars gathered from various marques as you can see from the pictures shared by KT Pillai. The two main attraction was the 1933 Rolls Royce Phantom II & Merc Benz 190SL convertible 1958.
Driving up from KL, Mr.Rukshan & Mr.Michael Sundaram spoke on behalf of the MY CLASSIC CARS CLUB and were very happy & delighted with the great hospitality shown by the local members. Perak Classic Car Club member, Dr.Basel spoke on behalf of the President, Mr.Yap who was unable to attend as he was outstation. An exchange of souvenirs took place followed by a group photo and entertaining the casual onlookers who took the trouble to come and have a look at the cars that were on display.
The day ended with the cars departing back to KL & other towns south of Ipoh.
