Waze and Petron have rolled out a solution that will help drivers navigate their way out of the jam and into the closest Petron stations to refuel their cars and refresh themselves. In an effort to deliver increasingly valuable content to its users, Waze introduces the Favourite Brands function for individuals to identify their brand preference in-app.
Petron is the first Malaysian company to use the Favourite Brands function for users to select ‘Petron’ as their preferred brand.
“Petron is pleased to partner with Waze to help customers find the easiest and quickest way to a Petron station. By using the app, customers can view our latest product offerings so that they don’t miss out on any of our fun and rewarding campaigns and promotions,” said Puan Faridah Ali, Head of Retail Business Petron Malaysia.
“We are thrilled to partner with Petron and offer Waze users additional conveniences on their daily commute. This partnership allows them to find the closest Petron to them within seconds,” said Edward Ling, Country Manager of Waze Malaysia.
All users have to do is search for the closest Petron station, tap into its location page and simply tap on the heart icon which is placed at the centre of the page.
