It looks like UMW Toyota is releasing a special edition of the Avanza called the Avanza X. We have a couple of brochure shots to share with you.
This new version of the Avanza brings the design away from the traditional MPV mould and into crossover territory. This is evidenced by the blacked out, rugged bumper, side cladding and fender covers. There are even roof rail mouldings to accentuate this new look, as well as some actually good looking 16″ alloy rims.
They’ve extended the rear combination reflectors too. As with many such cars, the Avanza X may only be offered as a full spec car, meaning the car may come with the 1.5-litre Dual VVT-i engine and 4-speed automatic.
