ETCM Extends Recall to 98,216 Nissan Vehicles

Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM), together with Tan Chong Ekspres Auto Servis Centre (TCEAS) announced a recall campaign extension for its customers to replace the front passenger airbag inflator module.

After investigation, approximately 98,216 units of Nissan vehicles have been identified for Takata front passenger airbag inflator replacement as stated below:

Customers of the affected vehicles will be notified by letter and are advised to call the nearest TCEAS outlet for an appointment. Selected TCEAS outlets have extended its operation hours and are now open 365 days, making it easier for customers to service their vehicles on weekends and public holidays, as well as to alleviate the capacities for the replacement activity.

All labour and replacement parts for this recall campaign will be at no cost to owners.
