Malaysian Couple Back Home After 26,000-km Honeymoon Ride to London

Malaysian couple Mohd Alfishahrin Zakaria and Diana Latief from Selangor are back in their homeland to celebrate Malaysia Day after completing their epic global honeymoon ride of 26,000 km on Honda RS150R supercubs.

Their arrival was welcomed by family members, friends and representatives from Boon Siew Honda, GIVI Malaysia and PEMADAM who have been supporting the couple as they pursued their journey across the globe.

Six months ago, Alfishahrin and Diana decided to celebrate their honeymoon by riding across the globe. The newlyweds spent over six months riding the RS150R supercubs across 25 countries such as Iran, Switzerland, Paris and London as their final destination. The trip started on 8 April 2017 and was officially completed on 31 August 2017.

“Throughout out our journey, we even rode in weather as cold as -10°C all the way to a blistering 50°C across different terrains. Luckily, the only issue we faced was a single tyre puncture. We wanted to challenge and test out the capabilities of the RS150R and we are truly amazed by the strength and durability of the bikes” said Alfishahrin and Diana.

Although the couple has just completed their trip, they have set the plan for their next riding adventure. “Next year, we will be going to Hajj with the RS150R and we are planning to make a few stops in Egypt depending on our budget”, added Alfishahrin.
