Nike is bringing a new shoe customization to New York at what they’re calling the ‘The Nike Makers’ Experience.’ The new concept, which was designed in collaboration with W+K Lodge, is opening this month with a service gives you a collection of graphic options, colors, and your own typographical inputs to create a custom one-off design that will go on a pair of Nike Presto Xs. Dynamic object tracking and projection systems are all part of the high-tech experience as you see your creation scaled and colorized to your specific preferences.
It takes less than 90 minutes to create your shoe and if you want a pair, you’re going to have to wait. Nike is initially launching it as an invite only shop for friends and family of the brand and select Nike+ members.
