Next year, Mazda will also introduce its new compression ignition petrol engine Skyactiv-X (Spark Controlled Compression Ignition) in an all new model called the Koeru, which Mazda claims have lower ‘well-to-wheel’ emissions than electric vehicles. This could well be the reinvention of the petrol engine. More information will be shared soon.
