No more worrying about cracked plastic trim or faded rear plastic glass or even hard to source exterior trim parts for your 1989 Mazda MX-5. Mazda Motor Corporation has just announced the launch of the restore service for the first “Roadster” (NA type).
This restore service is a service consisting of two of the restore business and parts re-supply, aimed at creating an environment that allows customers to continue to ride Mazda vehicles for a long time.
In the Restore business, Mazda keeps customers’ “Roadster” and refreshes the car in a state close to the original, so we will start accepting it within 2017 and start service from the beginning of 2018. Manufacturer Mazda will meet directly with customers and will carry out services tailored to the status and needs of individual cars. Working at Mazda’s facility, we plan to acquire classic car garage certification from TÜV Rheinland Japan Co., Ltd. * We will be able to deliver restored cars to our customers with high quality.
Parts re-supply is to reprint some parts of the original “Roadster” which is currently being delivered, and will be on sale from the beginning of 2018. Bridgestone made tire SF325 (185 / 60R14), NARDI made wood steering / shift knob which reproduced soft top and design of vinyl fabric which reminiscent of the original state, the original “Road Star” announcement at the time of announcement, I will reprint with the current technology. Regarding other parts supply, we will continue to work through dialogue with customers.
