Audi Malaysia announces the distinctive Audi A7 Sportback 2.0 TFSI quattro to complete its executive line-up. With a high performance 2.0 litre four-cylinder, inline petrol engine coupled with Audi’s legendary quattro permanent all-wheel drive for a bracing yet assured drive regardless of whether you are driving or being driven, Audi wants to challenge the Mercedes CLS and The BMW Gran Coupe with this luxury fastback.
The elegant Audi A7 2.0 TFSI quattro provides a more accessible option for owners looking to combine the sporty appeal of a coupé, the comfort of a sedan and the practicality of an Avant (station wagon) that comes with the Audi A7. With an exterior that is identical to the 3-litre variant, this understated Audi A7 Sportback 2.0 TFSI quattro provides a distinctively progressive silhouette with its long bonnet, muscular waistline and sloping roofline.
Under the hood it is propelled by a 2 litre, 4-cylinder, in-line petrol engine with direct fuel injection and exhaust gas turbocharging that develops a total of 252 hp and a maximum torque of 370 Nm between the range of 1,600 and 4,500 rpm. This sporty engine is then mated with a precise seven-speed S tronic transmission and Audi’s legendary quattro permanent all-wheel drive to allow the sedan to accomplish the century sprint in 6.5 seconds and the five-door coupe to make it in 6.7 seconds.
The Audi A7 2.0 TFSI quattro features a sportier interior, featuring a more sculpted dashboard with Aluminium Ellipse silver inlays and underlined further with electrically adjustable sport seats with four-way lumbar support in the front and a cosseting rear seat, all done up in a sporty Alcantara-leather combination. Also bristling with technology, this Audi A7 Sporback also features all of the same infotainment and connectivity features as the A6 sedan, but with the added function of the Audi Smartphone Interface, which allows the access of a connected iOS or Android smartphone’s features through the vehicle’s MMI interface.
The Audi A7 Sportback 2.0 TFSI quattro come packed with an array of electronic and mechanical features to ensure safety and efficiency, including a start/stop system with energy recovery, tyre pressure loss indicator, hill descent control, Electronic Stabilisation Control (ESC) which includes Traction Control (ASR), Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), Electronic Differential Lock (EDL) and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and a total of eight airbags.
