At present, there is a network of 9 exclusive Audi outlets running in Malaysia. Soon some of the Audi outlets will get new owners. Non of the Audi outlets are closing, just getting new business owners.
To start, Audi in SetiaWalk Mall, Puchong which only started operations in September 2016 is leaving the business. Audi Puchong owners, Swire Motors have had a long automotive experience both in Malaysia and in other regional markets such as Taiwan, Hong Kong and China. Meanwhile, new partners are opening new Audi outlets in Malaysia and some will be taking over existing outlets in Johor Bahru and Kuantan. 
In Taiwan, Swire Motors has been selling Audi cars very well and yet they have just ceased the Audi business and have decided to leave the brand. This is perhaps why they are leaving the Audi business in Malaysia.
No confirmation of this has come from Audi Malaysia as well as Swire Motors and we are waiting for an update.
