Boon Siew Honda has unveiled the latest version of the CBR500R and CB500F duo, which are now available in a new colour scheme called Lemon Ice Yellow.
That said, technical specifications for both bikes remain unchanged. Powering the CBR500R and CB500F is a liquid-cooled 471 cc, DOHC parallel-twin engine that packs 47 hp at 8,500 rpm and 44 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. The output is transferred to the rear wheel via a six-speed transmission.
Both bikes are equipped with a telescopic front fork and an adjustable rear monoshock, while braking power is provided by a single 320 mm disc up front and a 240 mm single disc at the rear. Meanwhile, fuel tank capacity is rated at 16.7 litres.
Elsewhere, you’ll find LED lights at both ends, an adjustable front brake lever, and a sporty muffler design, to name a few.
Pricing for the CBR500R starts from RM31,681.28 for the non-ABS version, and RM35,179.28 for the version with ABS, while the CB500F can be yours from RM31,363.28 (non-ABS) and RM34,861.28 (ABS). Both bikes can also be had in Millennium Red and Matt Gunpowder Black.
Available at authorised Boon Siew Honda dealers, the CBR500R and CB500F come with a two year or 20,000 km manufacturing warranty.
