Before you decide on another, try and test drive the Renault Captur. This crossover will surprise you. Here is our review after a quick test drive. After inserting the key (or you can keep the key in your pocket), which looks more like a thick credit card, a push start button got the turbocharged TCe120 engine purring quietly and we were off and running in this snazzy vehicle.
On all the potholed, rough and badly maintained roads around Klang Valley, this compact SUV handled itself well on all the surfaces with no jarring and bounce. The light steering provides enough excitement and response to keep everyone happy. When the roads get rough, the Captur hits humps and bumps with minimal fuss.
The turbocharged TCe120 engine is mated to a 6-speed Efficient Dual Clutch (EDC) transmission which delivers more torque than a 1.8L normally-aspired engine for good acceleration from low revs. With an added benefit, it delivers excellent fuel efficiency. Test drive the Captur for yourself soon.
