Boon Siew Honda has introduced the 2017 edition of Honda CBR250R, which is targeted toward all types of buyers, from leisure riders to style-conscious commuters.
The CBR250R is powered a 250 cc, single-cylinder engine that packs 27 hp at 8,500 rpm, and 23.3 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm, and a six-speed transmission. The internal volume of the muffler is also larger, resulting in a more pleasing exhaust note.
Due to the low number of moving parts, the engine is more fuel efficient, while small details such as the low-friction piston rings and iridium spark plug help to reduce maintenance cost.
The engine’s compactness also helps create a bike that is lighter and more manageable than a multi-cylinder, and allows it be positioned perfectly within the chassis for an ideal front/rear weight distribution.
The new CBR250R is offered in Millennium Red, Lemon Ice Yellow and Black. The recommended showroom price starts from RM21,940.94 (Black) to RM22,258.94 (Millennium Red, Lemon Ice Yellow). It comes with a two-year or 20,000 km manufacturing warranty.
