Guess what’s officially back? The classic Nokia 3310. Many of us remember the 3310 from the early 2000s for Snake II, customisable covers, its indestructibility and an amazing battery life. Well, all of that’s coming back this year as HMD Global (who own the rights to the Nokia brand) are reintroducing a modernised version of the 3310 that’s similar in principle to the original.
Priced at 50 Euros (about RM240), the reimagined classic comes with a long-lasting battery, so you can talk all day or leave the phone on standby for up to a month. When needed, a Micro-USB port makes charging simple.
The Snake game series returns with a little update that makes it even more fun to play on the 2.4″ colour screen.
The new 3310 comes in Warm Red (Glossy), Dark Blue (Matte), Yellow (Glossy), Grey (Matte). Music lovers will be delighted to learn that it supports mp3 playback AND has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Up to 32GB of storage is available via MicroSD card and both single- and dual-SIM versions will be released. It even has a basic 2MP camera for pictures you can’t afford to miss. The phone has been officially launched in Europe, no word on when we’ll see it here in Malaysia.
