DNC Asiatic Holdings, the manufacturer of Demak motorcycles in Malaysia, has entered into an agreement with MV Agusta to assemble its bikes here. Distribution of all eight current models will be managed by Moto Varase Asiatic, a subsidiary of DNC.
The agreement was signed today at the DNC Asiatic Holdings plant in Olak Lempit, Banting, Selangor, with the presence of Judah Sangaran, Far East Country Manager, MV Agusta Motor SpA, Hu Ying, Executive Director of DNC Asiatic Holdings, as well as Muhamad Zamry Abu Samah, Managing Director of Moto Varese Asiatic.
The company will start with a dedicated MV Agusta sales, service and spare parts centre in Batu Caves, Selangor that is expected to begin operation in the first quarter of next year. The expansion plan will follow with a dealership in Penang to cater the northern region as well as in Johor for the southern region market.
Moto Varase Asiatic will also come up with special Service Campaigns which would be carried out in the first six months of operation to further improve and strengthen the after sales services, thus enhancing ownership experience.
