Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon AMG G63 in town for just RM1,181,888

Initially designed for farmers and the working class in Europe, it is still being produced, but now for heads of state, heads of organised crime, heads of corruption, heads of large corporations, heads of reality TV shows and heads of music empires. This is the godfather of SUVs.

Since it was originally conceived in 1979, the G-Class has undergone an astounding process of evolution as a vehicle to be used primarily in tough off-road terrain. The G-Class today is the top model among luxury-class cross-country vehicles, and has provided the gene pool for the other very successful SUVs built under the Mercedes-Benz brand.

The new Mercedes-AMG G 63 impresses with state-of-the-art drive technology, as well as timeless and unmistakeable design. This is largely attributable to the AMG 5.5-litre V8 biturbo engine delivering an output of 420 kW (571 hp) and the AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission system. This enables the Mercedes-AMG G 63 to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds, with a top speed of 210 km/h (electronically limited).

Its face is characterized by the AMG radiator grille with duel lamellae and four chrome inserts, as well as prominent bumpers with large air intakes. Another feature that is characteristic for the AMG model is the fender flares. Optional stainless steel running boards and protective strips on the sides containing inserts with a brushed aluminum look complement the exclusive exterior.

Other signs of distinction are the “V8 BITURBO” lettering on the front fenders and the Mercedes-AMG    G 63 nameplate on the rear door. Red brake calipers and 21-inch wheels AMG forged wheels painted in matte black round off the expressive exterior.
