The Sleek New Ford Fiesta – Stunning Looks and Impressive Features

The new Ford Fiesta features a stunning exterior redesign that emphasises the Fiesta’s sporty persona – Ford’s signature trapezoidal front grille, laser-cut headlamps, new rear spoiler for the five-door sport variant and a new bumper fascia and chrome accents for the four-sedan variant.

Meanwhile, the new Ford Fiesta’s interior has been upgraded with a mobile-phone inspired dashboard, leather-covered steering wheel and high-gloss finish on the instrument panel, underscoring the new Fiesta’s premium look. The five-door sport variant features leather and fabric seats, while the four-door sedan variant offers full leather seats.

The vehicle has been upgraded with impressive smart technologies, giving drivers a fantastic mix of connectivity and driving pleasure. The new Fiesta introduces Ford’s exclusive SYNC™ technology to the Fiesta range, offering voice-command technology that enables drivers to place and take calls, select music and listen to text messages, all while keeping their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road. Additional smart features include keyless entry, push-button start, rain-sensing wipers, Electronic Automatic Temperature Control (EATC) air-conditioning, power wing mirrors with auto-fold and more.

In addition, the new Ford Fiesta will be powered by the global 1.5-litre twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT) four-cylinder petrol engine at launch. It delivers 82 kW (112 PS) of power at 6,300 rpm and peak torque of 140 Nm at 4,400 rpm. The 1.5-litre Ti-VCT engine is paired with the efficient Ford PowerShift® six-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift®, providing fuel economy as good as 5.8 L/100km and carbon dioxide emissions of137 g/km.

To help drivers improve their eco-driving skills, the new Ford Fiesta features Ford EcoMode, a handy software application that measures the fuel efficiency of the driver’s gear shifting, consistency and speed. Those with fuel-efficient driving skills are rewarded with in-car kudos in the form of a leaf icon displayed on the instrument cluster.

Further taking the stress out of driving, the new Ford Fiesta comes with rear parking aid with park pilot that keeps drivers from backing into obstacles they cannot see.
