After ten years of providing quality Honda experiences from their base in Sri Kembangan, Selangor, Global Amity has now expanded their operations with a new 3S centre in Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor. The impressive three-storey facility built on 1.25 acres of land boasts of a very advanced and logical design featuring various eco-friendly features making this one of the most modern state-of-the-art Honda facilities in the country. The new Global Amity Honda 3S Centre was declared officially open by the CEO of Honda Malaysia Yoichiro Ueno during the company’s 10th anniversary celebrations recently. Speaking at the ceremony, CEO and President of Global Amity Azri Aziz said that the new outlet represented the company’s confidence in the potential of the Honda brand and the company’s desire to provide premium Honda experiences to a larger audience.
“With the growing number of Malaysian motorists who want five-star experiences with their Honda cars, our aim was to create a comfortable and conducive facility to satisfy all their Honda desires,” said Azri.
Featuring an 18-bay service centre in the lower level, a spacious showroom floor with private discussion areas and ample parking space for guests, the facility is both comfortable and inviting, allowing customers lots of space to browse for a new car or wait while their Honda cars are cared for. A café that serves a variety of food and drinks is even available to satisfy those hunger pangs. Complete with an eco escalator that powers up only when approached, a rain water harvesting system for non-critical items, full-length windows for the showroom and service centre to reduce artificial lighting usage and a power-saving air-conditioning system that regulates temperature throughout the building, the new 3S centre presents itself as a model Honda facility that offers sustainable solutions for the environment.
With its comprehensive hardware in place, Global Amity has also seen fit to focus its attention on the deliverables. In light of this, the company announced the appointment of Rafael de Ory as its Chief Operating Officer. De Ory who holds a BSc in Management and Marketing from Royal Holloway, University of London, comes with an extensive portfolio in handling vendor relationships and product delivery, particularly in the telecommunications industry. Having worked in various markets including the UK, U.S.A. and Hong Kong, de Ory brings with him a unique value in customer-centric initiatives.
“I am looking forward to working with the team and to push the Honda brand to new heights. Our focus will continue to be the customer and ensuring that we offer the best service and value in a professional yet welcoming environment,” said de Ory.
