A name that needs no introduction in motorsports, especially stunt driving, Swift has obtained several Guinness World Records. In 2004, he set a Guinness World Record for making 10 complete spins with a car in just 16.07 seconds – that is a mere 1.6 seconds for each complete spin.
In addition, Swift was a two-time British Autotest Champion and England Autotest Team Captain in 1982 and 1983. It is these feats and more that have cemented his reputation as a living legend behind the wheels. Now back in Malaysia, Swift is poised to deliver another jaw-dropping performance that will leave visitors truly amazed. Expect a spectacle of pure adrenaline and driving mastery that should not be missed by any motoring enthusiast.
The not-to-be-missed nationwide Subaru Russ Swift event will next be held from 17 – 18 September, 2016 (10.00am – 6.00pm) at Setia City Convention Centre Carpark. The Russ Swift Stunt Show will take place at 1.00pm, 3.00pm and 5.00pm daily and there will be autograph sessions for the public after each show.
In conjunction with the Subaru Russ Swift Stunt Show, the public are invited to experience the full driving pleasure and potential of Subaru’s All-Wheel Drive (AWD) technology. Put yourself to the test and personally gauge the impressive driving performance of Subaru vehicles in various driving and off-road conditions.
With the guidance of professional instructors, participants can explore the AWD capabilities of Subaru vehicles through a four-obstacle course which simulate off-road, slippery, muddy and hilly conditions. These challenges are the Cross-Roller, Slip-Roller, Roller-Conveyor and Side Ramp respectively.
