With analogue dials quickly being phased out by more detailed high technology screens (they are more computer/tablet screens) that can be customized, digital gauge clusters are poised to become the norm in all vehicles very soon.

And while back in the days the majority of them were simple mechanical/electric dials and some lights were just stuck behind the main panel in order to see the numbers in the dark, nowadays, your eyes are bombarded with high resolution customizable displays, with video-game-like graphics and space age technology running behind them.

Today they come in all shapes and sizes featuring a host of new technological marvels to display the needed and some not so needed information when driving.
