Hong Leong Yamaha Motor Sdn. Bhd. (HLYM) has announced the official launch of its latest big bike model, the new Yamaha MT-09 Tracer.
The introduction of the MT-09 Tracer marks the fifth major offering in HLYM’s big bike product line-up, and stands out as its new flagship model. The bike will complement the current model range of XJ6, MT-07, MT-09 as well as XV950R.
At only 190 kg (dry weight), the MT-09 Tracer is a light touring bike that represents an ultimate weekend toy. It is powered by a 847 cc three-cylinder high torque engine with liquid cooling system and fuel injection. Traction Control System and ABS are among the standard features on the Tracer.
The new Yamaha MT-09 Tracer (CBU) is priced at RM59,900 (excluding road tax, insurance and number plate) and will be available at selected authorised Yamaha dealerships nationwide starting from mid-July. It comes only in Yamaha’s trademark Race Blu colour scheme.
