How about paying a first visit to the Ferrari Museum without leaving your hometown, maybe on the other side of the world? You can now do this! Google’s Street View technology, which gives 360-degree online panoramic views of some of the world’s most famous places, has been used to digitalise a walking tour of the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena and the Ferrari Museum of Maranello.
The end result is a true virtual tour allowing fans to familiarise themselves with the two Prancing Horse museums, viewing the temporary exhibition “Genius and Secrets” at the Ferrari Maranello Museum, in addition to the “Engine Museum” and ‘”Ferrari’s homage to Pavarotti” at the Enzo Ferrari Museum of Modena, which today saw the mounting of the exhibition “Red Carpet”, about Ferrari cars starring in the movies.
The images of the Ferrari Museum on Google Street View are accessible to everyone at www.google.com/mapsdevices simply by typing “Ferrari Museum”. Google has gathered a number of them in a dedicated gallery, which can also be viewed through the Street View App.
This is a unique opportunity to discover the Ferrari Museum and immerse yourself in exhibition spaces, which evolve continually year round to give visitors the opportunity to experience and discover every aspect of the myth of the Prancing Horse.
All of which is a precursor to a personal visit, of course, which naturally cannot be beat.
