Volkswagen Malaysia is now accepting bookings for the soon-to-be-launched new Volkswagen Vento. Available in three variants – the Highline, Comfortline and Trendline, the new Vento has it all – powerful performance and advanced safety features. New chrome grills and contour lines adds definition to its design, giving it an elegant yet dynamic look.
The only turbocharged sedan in its class, the Vento Highline is equipped with a 1.2L turbocharged and direct-injection TSI engine with an output of 105PS. A 7-speed dual-clutch or direct-shift gearbox (DSG) provides a maximum torque of 175Nm and delivery from 1500rpm to 4100rpm.
Whilst impressive on performance, safety is not compromised. The new Vento Highline is awarded 5 star rating by ASEAN NCAP and is equipped with Electronic Stability Control (ESC), four airbags (front and side), anti-lock braking system (ABS), Intelligent Crash Response System (ICRS) and ISOFIX anchorage point for child seats. Five colours are available; Candy White, Flash Red, Reflex Silver, Carbon Steel Grey and Deep Black.
