Honda has just unveiled a new variant to the popular Civic. It is called the Civic Tourer and its global premier will be next month at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The initial production version of the Honda Civic Tourer was previewed earlier this year as a concept car using the same name.
This Civic Tourer carries more angular headlights with LED technology, an aggressive front grille, and larger taillights when compared with its sedan sibling. This Honda Civic Tourer will come with class-leading interior room.
The luggage compartment has 624 liters and it can extend up to 1668 liters when the back seats are folded. This Civic Tourer will also come fitted with rear Honda ‘Magic Seats’, which is used in the Honda Jazz/Fit and the previous Asian model, the Honda City. This a system that helps you to fold down the seats in one easy motion.
Under the hood, the 2014 Honda Civic Tourer will come with a 1.8 liter i-VTEC that can deliver 142bhp and 174Nm of torque.
The new Civic Tourer will be built at the Honda United Kingdom plant and European sales will begin early next year.
