Mitsubishi Motors Thailand made the Thai premier of the 2016 Mirage at the 32nd Thailand International Motor Expo today. The new Mirage enters 2016 with a refreshed design for a more sporty look, newly added safety features and is capable of an astonishing 23.8km/litre efficiency with its 1.2-litre 3 cylinder. The Mirage comes with the option of a 5-speed manual or an INVECS-III CVT transmission and G-SENSOR.
3 new colours are being offered: Wine Red, Sunrise Orange, and Titanium Gray. Cerulean Blue Mica, White Pearl and Black Mica make a reappearance. With a base prices ranging from 383,000 to 567,000 Thai Baht, the Mirage enjoys a range of safety equipment including Forward Collision Mitigation, which applies the brakes to avoid a low-speed collision as well as a Misacceleration Mitigation System that warns the driver when there’s an obstruction ahead.
As standard, all Mirage models come with Active Stability Control, Hill Start Assist, ABS, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution and Brake Assist as well as dual SRS airbags. Quite a lot of kit comes with the higher spec models, including LED tail lights and Projector Bi-Xenon HID headlamps and 2-tone 15-inch alloy wheels.
