The W Motors Fenyr SuperSport was revealed just days ago and it’s pretty spectacular. Under its sculpted hood lies a 4.0-litre flat six which is still under development, but W Motors promises it’ll put out more than 900hp and 1200Nm of torque once it’s finished with its tests. The engine isn’t being developed directly by W Motors, instead Porsche tuners RUF Automobile GmbH have been appointed to build it – which explains why they went for a boxer configuration.
It’s not designed to be quite as fast as Veyron, with only two turbocharges, but it will still hit 400km/h in a straight line. The engineering and bodywork is being carried out by Magna Steyr Italy, among other individuals. Acceleration is expected to be lightning fast as well thanks to the 7-speed dual clutch transmission and carbon-fibre bodywork.
The car itself is pretty good looking, but of course that’s subjective. This video should allow you to judge for yourself though. Love it or hate it, very few will ever get to go near it as only 25 units are to be made annually, with prices starting at USD3.4 million.
