Front Wheel Drive Four Wheel Drive FERRARI

Ferrari has unveiled their 612 successor, a versatile 4-seater, which is called the Ferrari FF (FF means Ferrari Four) and which is the first ever four-wheel drive Ferrari looking very much like a shooting brake special. The Ferrari FF was designed by Pininfarina, and their car’s patented 4RM (four wheel drive) system weighs 50 per cent less than a conventional four-wheel drive system, maintaining perfect weight distribution.

Under the front bonnet is a 6262-liter direct injection V12 engine that develops 660 horsepower at 8000 rpm and 683 Nm of torque at 6000 rpm, which are enough to make the Prancing Horse’s shooting brake accelerate from 0 to 100 Km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 3.7 seconds. The FF will also boast a magnetorheological damping system and carbon-ceramic Brembo brakes. The Ferrari FF is able to hit a top speed of 335km/h and as far as dimensions; the car is 4.9 m long, 1.95 m wide, 1.37 m high and weights a total 1790 Kg.

The Ferrari FF price has not been announced and should see some updated news after the Geneva Motor Show in coming months.
