UMW Toyota Motor celebrates its journey to greater customer satisfaction when it ranked highest in the J.D. Power 2015 Malaysia Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) for the third consecutive year. Toyota’s score is 791 points, well above the industry average of 752 points.
Conducted by the renowned global market information company, J.D. Power, the study examines six key factors that contribute to the overall customer satisfaction with their new-vehicle purchase in the mass market segment. These factors include, in order of importance: the salesperson, dealer facility, delivery timing, deal, delivery process and sales initiation. Toyota performs particularly well in majority of the criteria.
The 2015 Malaysia Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) Study is based on responses from 2,371 new-vehicle owners in the mass market segment who purchased their vehicle between August 2014 and May 2015. The study was fielded between February and July 2015.
