Sime Darby Auto Hyundai Sdn Bhd recently launched a series of innovative services to cater to the growing needs of its customer base and to ensure greater customer satisfaction. Among the services introduced were the Quick Service and 24-Hour Key Drop facility. This move is in line with Hyundai’s new brand concept of providing customers with service experiences beyond their expectations. Quick Service, an innovative service by the company, offers customers a quick and efficient solution in getting their vehicles undergo maintenance.
Services offered under the Quick Service include: o Wiper blade change o Battery check and change o Spark plug change o Drive belt change o Coolant hoses change o Air conditioner belt change o Lubrication service o Oil & filter change o Transmission fluid change o Power steering fluid change o Radiator fluid change o Fuel filters change o Air filter change o Tyre pressure check o Tyre change o Tyre rotation o Wheel alignment & balancing o Front and rear brake pads change The new Quick Service is currently available at Sime Darby Auto Hyundai outlets in Glenmarie (Shah Alam), Old Klang Road (Kuala Lumpur) and Plentong in Johor Bahru. Customers who wish to send in their cars for Quick Service are advised to call in and make an appointment prior to sending their cars. To ensure efficiency for this service, customers are also requested to provide sufficient information about the service required when they call in for an appointment. Quick Service numbers are as follows: o Glenmarie, Shah Alam (017 699 1147) o Old Klang Road, Kuala Lumpur (017 699 0807) o Plentong, Johor Bahru (07 357 6868) “We have allocated two service bays for the Quick Service programme and two technicians to each vehicle. The Quick Service team will prepare the necessary part that needs to be changed even before the arrival of the vehicle to ensure quick turnaround,” said Mr Dennis Ho, Director of Sime Darby Auto Hyundai Sdn Bhd. “The Quick Service is convenient for busy people who are always on the move. With quick service, customers need not wait impatiently for hours at the service centre,” added Mr Ho. Apart from Quick Service, Sime Darby Auto Hyundai also introduced the 24-Hour Key Drop facility at its Elite Dealership outlet at Glenmarie. With the 24-Hour Key Drop facility, customers can now drop their cars at any time of the day without having to make an appointment. All the customers need to do is to fill up a form, place their car keys in the 24-Hour Key Drop envelope and drop it into a secured designated box. This service also comes with a free car wash. “The 24-Hour Key Drop facility is secure, so customers need not worry about the safety of their cars as we have security personnel on duty 24 hours a day. Once the envelope is picked up by the Service Assistant, a call will be made to the customer to confirm the type of service or repair required.
“The Service Assistant will then inform the vehicle owner once the car is ready for collection and explain the content and charges for each work done,” said Mr Ho. According to Mr Ho, this service is targeted at customers who are too busy to send their vehicles in morning and frequent short-term travelers who would just like to leave their car at the service centre, take a flight out for a business meeting and upon returning to Kuala Lumpur, the car is ready for collection. There are no extra charges for these services. Other value-added service by the company is the Fleet Customers Outreach Service, extended to corporate companies, which had purchased a fleet of Hyundai vehicles. Under the Fleet Customers Outreach Service programme, technicians will be sent to companies upon request to service and repair their vehicles.
