Mercedes-Benz Malaysia further cemented its leadership position with year-to-date passenger car sales shooting up 70 per cent to 8,196 units from the 4,817 units sold in 2014. Malaysia currently represents the biggest market for Mercedes-Benz passenger cars in Southeast Asia. As at August 2015, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia successfully sold 7,194 units surpassing the 6,932 units sold in FY2014, setting 2015 as another record breaking year.
The localised C-Class has been very well received and Mercedes-Benz Malaysia is experiencing overwhelming demand. As part of the continued commitment to the market and customers, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia will now introduce the C200 Exclusive, previously only available for the C250 Exclusive. Another variant, the C250 AMG, will also be launched. The latest variants join Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s existing C200 Avantgarde.
All three variants meet the criteria of the National Automotive Policy (NAP) 2014, and consequently have resulted in reduced prices. As such, the C200 Avantgarde and C200 Exclusive will be priced at RM 248,888 and RM 252,888 respectively; while the price tag for the C250 AMG is set at RM 287,888. All prices quoted are on-the-road without insurance.
