At this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, Porsche revealed a their electric car project designed to make eco-warriors very excited about the future of supercars. It’s called the Mission E and not only will it accelerate t0 100 from a dead stop in less than 3.5 seconds, but it’s also being designed for high-speed long distance driving.
Plus, using a proposed “Porsche Turbo Charging” system, a battery can recover 80% of its energy in just 15 minutes flat. That’s faster than the Tesla Supercharger grid! There’s even an emotion monitoring system for some reason. What this does is it tracks your facial expression and displays a smiley emoticon on the rear view mirror. So for the first time in history, your car will know when you’re happy. Creepy or cool? We’re not sure.
Until Porsche put the Mission-E into production, it’ll remain in Elon Musk’s nightmares.
