Lamborghini has finally found a name it likes for its upcoming hyper-car. Earlier reports indicated that the car would be called the HyperVeloce, but new information indicates that Lamborghini plans to name it the Centenario instead. It kinda makes sense, when you consider the fact that it will be 100 years since Lamborghini’s founder, Feruccio Lamborghini was born when the car is launched next year.
Only 20 units will be produced and each one will be sold at more than a million Euros, so just drop that off your ‘to-buy’ list. The designation LP770-4 that it will bear indicates a 770PS motor and four wheel drive, most likely from a 6.5-litre V12 with no turbos or supercharging. Because… well… it’s Lamborghini. That’ll get the car up to 350km/h and give it a 0-100km/h time of 2.7 seconds.
In terms of looks, just imagine the Lamborghini Veneno, but with better composition.
