Ever since the new Alfa Romeo Giulia has been unveiled more than a month ago, only the range-topping Quadrifoglio Verde variant has been shown to the world. This single body style, four-door sedan is now joined by a proposed Giulia CrossWagon design, which will go up against the Audi A4 Allroad, if it will receive the green lights for production.
Notice the more practical rear end, along with the slightly sloping roofline, the raised suspension system, the black finished underbody protection, the black front splitter, wheel arches and side skirts. Alfa has already offered such an off-road focused vehicle, in the shape of the 156 CrossWagon, so don’t act too surprised if you will see the Giulia in a similar version. The current model is aimed towards the BMW M3, the Mercedes-AMG C63 S and the upcoming Audi RS4. It is making use of a turbocharged engine, with six cylinders and a total output of 503bhp, sent to the rear wheels. From 0 to 100km/h, the model needs just 3.9seconds. The public debut of the car will be made at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, in September.
