In 1970, Toyota revealed a vehicle that would help to launch them across the world. It was the Toyota Celica and this nameplate spawned a generation of sports cars that are still much loved despite being discontinued for many years now.
First came the Celica ST (pictured above and below) and then the Celica GT came along and took more attention (pictured right at the end of this article).
Today the Celica holds a powerful spot in the history of tuners and sports cars that were more powerful and desirable than the competitors from England, Germany and America.
