The Malaysian contingent comprising Ong Koon Liang, Kamahlaan Thiagarajan, Tan Eng Tat, Khee Chun Hiew and Ling Yew Heng, today received their winning passes to Michelin Pilot Sport Experience 2015 from Michelin Malaysia Managing Director, Beltran de Yturriaga to participate in the exclusive event to experience Michelin’s passion for racing, commitment to safety and a track to street total performance.
Michelin Pilot Sport Experience is an exclusive annual event where Michelin provides a number of selected invitees the opportunity to be a racer for a day – at the iconic Sepang racing track, in real racing cars, on award-winning Michelin tyres. Participants get a one-in-a lifetime insider view in world-class motorsports racing.
In order to amplify the reach of the event and open it to consumers that are really passionate about racing, Michelin launched the Michelin Right 2 Race digital game challenge again this year, from May 13 to June 16.
The winners from Malaysia are among the over 5,252 entrants, who had proven their skills online, setting the fastest lap time in the game, using the best racing lines and braking points around the digital version of Sepang International Circuit.
The Michelin Pilot Sport Experience offers several unique motorsport experiences which include Rally, Formula 4 and GT Race Car Driving Experiences, and Hot Laps with Professional Racers where some of the high performance race cars will be introduced in the MPSE 2015 for the first time.
