Ford Malaysia will showcase the All-New Ranger in a nationwide ‘Ranger versus The World’ roadshow in March and April, starting with a 5-day stop at the Centre Court of The Curve in Mutiara Damansara from 21-25 March. On display are the All-New Ford Ranger XLT automatic and manual versions. Pre-bookings for the All-New Ford Ranger will be open during roadshow.
The first 500 customers to make a booking for the All-New Ford Ranger will receive an Apple iPad, while the next 1,500 customers receiving a special edition Casio G-Shock watch worth RM750, both upon registration.
Visitors to the roadshow will not only get a close-up look at the All-New Ford Ranger but can also try out a first-of-its-kind All-New Ranger 360° racing simulator, allowing visitors to virtually experience some of the worst traveling conditions, such as racing down a dirt track.
In line with the theme of ‘Ranger vs. The World’ and the capabilities of All-New Ford Ranger in taking on major obstacles, visitors to the roadshow will be invited to participate in strength challenges. Participants of the strength challenges and racing simulator stand to win exclusive Ford merchandise in a series of contests held during the roadshow. In addition, Ford will set up a station where visitors can find out more about the Malaysian Global Ford Ranger Challenge and register to participate for the chance to drive away with their very own All-New Ranger XLT 2.2L (manual transmission). This challenge calls for the best ideas to test the All-New Ford Ranger and five lucky entrants will be selected to get behind the wheel to turn their tough challenge into reality. The Global Ford Ranger Challenge has successfully tested All-New Ranger competitors across Australia, Europe and South America and has recently proven to be a huge hit in Thailand and South Africa.
