Mini’s Superleggera Vision concept, which was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show last year will be introduced in 2018, according to reports.
Most of the design elements showcased will make it to the final product, but the all-electric setup will most likely be swapped out for an existing MINI engine.
The conventional powertrain might also indicate that the car will be offered in all-wheel and front-wheel drive configurations, but details remain sketchy.
Late last year, patents were filed that indicated MINI’s intention to bring the car to the mass market. Though the production designs stayed true in most regards to the concept, a revised front grille, mirrors, spoiler and door handles were shown.
