Perodua is introducing a special promotion scheme for Felda settlers as part of the national car specialise package designed for settlers’ motoring needs. The “Salam 1Felda” package includes a minimum RM1,000 rebate; 50% service vouchers for 2 years; and a free personal accident insurance worth RM20,000 (terms and conditions apply). For entitlement of this promotional scheme, which will run from 10 Nov 2012 to 30 April 2013, a Felda settler must produce his or her identity card, Felda payment slip and certification letter.
“This scheme is also open to the settler’s spouse, siblings, children and adopted children as long as they can produce the required documents,” Perodua Managing Director Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said.
“We believe that this promotion will be well received by the settlers as the scheme’s offerings would further reduce the already low cost of ownership of our vehicles,” Aminar added. In addition to the above package, Perodua will also deploy mobile service teams to offer basic maintenance for Perodua vehicles at selected Felda settlers soon. “This value added service that we are offering is our way of reaching out to our customers, because at Perodua You Matter Most!” Aminar said.
To further boost visibility of this promotion, Perodua will have a sales and after sales promotion to 14 settlements over the next 3 months to further increase awareness of this programme. There are a total of 304 Felda settlements nationwide. The after sales promotion during the tour includes discounts on engine oil and parts as well as a 30-point free inspection for settlers who have Perodua vehicles at selected Felda settlements. He said that Perodua has previously launched another targeted promotional campaign this year via the “What’s Up, Graduate!” campaign, which was aimed at fresh graduates and undergraduates. “So far, the take-up rate for the What’s Up, Graduate! has been very encouraging and we hope that the Salam 1Felda will also do as well,” Aminar said. Based on the last updated Felda website (21st March 2012); there are approximately 113,000 Felda settlers nationwide.
