Celebrate the holidays in style with the limited edition Touch n’ Go Oyen RFID tag
If you’re a pet lover or enjoy the thrill of fast drives, Touch ‘n Go has something special for you! Introducing the Limited-Edition RFID Tag – Cat Edition, featuring Malaysia’s favourite cheeky feline, Oyen. This adorable tag is not just for toll payments, it adds purr-sonality and fun to your daily journeys, making your drives more enjoyable.
Touch ‘n Go’s Cat Edition RFID Tag is their first-ever mid-sized limited-edition tag, designed to fit seamlessly on your vehicle’s left windscreen or bumper without compromising its functionality. Whether you’re a tech-savvy commuter or simply a cat enthusiast, this RFID tag is here to make your travels smoother and more entertaining.
Moreover, building on the success of the Transformers One Limited Edition RFID Tag, Touch ‘n Go has taken it up a notch with a product designed for animal lovers and creative spirits. After all, who wouldn’t want Oyen by their side on every journey?
This tag is directly linked to your Touch ‘n Go eWallet, so it automatically deducts toll fees as you pass through RFID lanes. No more rolling down your window, fumbling for cash, or waiting in line. With the Oyen RFID Tag, your trips are effortless.
Here are some tips for making the most of your cat edition RFID tag. Firstly, placement is key, follow the DIY fitment guide to securely attach your RFID tag to the left windscreen or bumper. Avoid placing it on the headlamp to stay compliant with Road Transport Department (JPJ) rules.
Next, keep your eWallet topped up. Always ensure your TNG eWallet has sufficient funds. For added convenience, enable the auto-reload feature so you never run low. Also remember to maintain distance. When using RFID lanes, stay at least 3 meters away from the car ahead to ensure the scanner reads your tag smoothly. Lastly, keep some SOS Balance. If your eWallet balance is low, eligible users can benefit from the SOS Balance feature, which allows a 24-hour grace period to top-up and pay tolls.
On top of that, getting started with your RFID tag is as easy as 1,2,3. Step 1, link your RFID tag. Open the Touch ‘n Go eWallet app and navigate to the RFID section. Enter your tag details and link it to your vehicle’s registration and your eWallet. Step 2, top up your eWallet. Use your debit/credit card, online banking (FPX), or visit kiosks to top-up.
Step 3, activate auto-reload. In the app settings, activate auto-reload to ensure seamless refills when needed. Then, drive stress-free. With your RFID tag linked and your eWallet topped up, you’re ready for a smooth, hassle-free driving experience.
Available at a special price of RM35 starting 24 January 2025, the Oyen RFID Tag is now available for purchase at Touch ‘n Go ShopeeMall Store and service centres at Nu Sentral and Bangsar South. Hurry, this limited-edition tag is expected to sell out quickly, just like Oyen chasing after a laser pointer!
