Neta V Renamed To Neta Aya For 2025, Finally Gains Basic ADAS Features

While the Neta Aya still lacks many basic features, it is at least a bit safer now

The Neta V is undergoing a significant update this year, with a refreshed design and a new name, now called the Neta Aya. This redesigned version of Neta’s electric hatchback comes with several notable improvements. The front bumper has been redesigned, and the rear features new full-width tail lights, giving the Aya a more modern and stylish look.

Inside, the Neta Aya now includes Apple CarPlay, a Qi wireless charger, and, for the first time, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, enhancing both convenience and comfort. The Aya also introduces several driver assistance features that were previously lacking in the original model.

Moreover, these include autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality, a front departure alert, and automatic high beams, making the vehicle safer and more convenient to drive. However, the mechanical components remain mostly unchanged. The car still uses a 95PS electric motor producing 150Nm of torque, paired with a 36.1 kWh battery.

Its driving range remains at 380km, which is more than adequate for daily commutes and short trips. The Neta Aya supports fast charging capabilities, with the ability to charge up to 100 kW using DC fast charging. This allows the battery to recharge from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes.

For those using standard AC charging, the car can also be fully charged in approximately eight hours with a 6.6 kW charger. In terms of dimensions, the Neta Aya measures 4070 mm in length, with a wheelbase of 2420 mm and a height of 1540 mm, making it a compact yet spacious electric vehicle.

On top of that, inside, the Neta Aya features a practical layout with a manual 6-way adjustable driver’s seat, a central armrest, and artificial leather seats. The back seat also folds down to provide additional cargo space, adding to the vehicle’s practicality.

One of the standout features of the Neta Aya is its V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) external discharge function, allowing it to be used as a power bank for small electrical appliances during outdoor activities. With a maximum discharge power of 3.3 kW, it’s perfect for camping trips or other adventures.

With a 0-50 km/h acceleration time of just 4.1 seconds and a maximum speed of 101km/h, the Neta Aya offers a solid driving experience. Its 401km NEDC range ensures that drivers can rely on it for both short trips and longer drives. This refresh provides a well-rounded, more feature-packed electric vehicle for those looking to make the switch to greener driving.
