Volkswagen customers are now being offered help if their cars were affected by floods
Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has officially launched its annual Volkswagen Cares initiative to support owners whose vehicles have been affected by the recent floods in Malaysia.
In response to the devastation caused by the floods, VPCM is extending a helping hand by offering a series of relief measures designed to assist owners in repairing and maintaining their vehicles. This year’s initiative is set to run from 1 October 2024 to 31 March 2025, and it includes several key benefits for affected Volkswagen owners.
Moreover, one of the main features of this initiative is a 30 percent discount on genuine Volkswagen parts for flood-damaged vehicles. This generous discount is available at all authorised Volkswagen service centres across Malaysia, ensuring that owners have easy access to the necessary repairs. VPCM is committed to providing only high-quality, genuine parts to ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of the vehicles.
VPCM is also offering a complimentary vehicle inspection to all affected owners. This inspection will help assess the extent of the flood damage and allow Volkswagen technicians to recommend the most appropriate repairs.
The goal of this service is also to guarantee that every vehicle affected by the floods remains in optimal condition, providing peace of mind to owners and ensuring that their vehicles are safe to drive once repaired.
On top of that, in recognition of the financial challenges that flood victims may face, VPCM is also introducing an easy and convenient payment plan. Under this plan, owners can spread their repair costs over six or twelve months with 0 percent interest, making it easier for them to manage their finances while restoring their vehicles to full working condition.
