Baidu, the Chinese tech giant, has announced a significant milestone in the development of autonomous driving technology with the Apollo RT6, the world’s only mass-produced Level-4 autonomous vehicle. The company revealed that it has successfully reduced the production cost of the Apollo RT6 to just 250,000 yuan (approximately USD34,525) per unit.
