In conjunction with the Year of the Goat, Perodua visited 38 senior citizens from two homes in Seremban for a day of fun filled activities as well as gave away ang pows and goodies for the coming celebrations.
Perodua’s 1 Southern Premier Club also gave ang pows and goodie bags to each of the residents of old folks home, namely Chok Lam Kun Yam Temple in Rantau and Pusat Pengjagaan Warga Usia Emas Tong Sim in Seremban.
The 1 Southern Premier Club is a special club set up by Perodua and its dealers located in Melaka, Negeri Sembilan and Johor to raise funds for those in need.
“These contributions are our way of giving back to the Malaysian people as well as to share a little cheer and joy for the coming Chinese New Year,” Perodua President and CEO, Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said.
Aminar said that a total of 15 Perodua volunteers took part in the one-day activity which include a relaxing grooming session followed by indoor games and then with a “Yee Sang” toss in following the tradition of the coming New Year.
“We are also very honoured that our dealers from Consomac and OSSB have taken the initiative to join us in this Corporate Responsibility programme and I do hope that they continue with charitable activities in the future,” Aminar said.
He added that Perodua is committed towards assisting those in need and in implementing impactful programmes towards Malaysian society.
“I would also like to wish Gong Xi Fa Chai to all those celebrating the Lunar New Year and may the Year of the Goat brings health, wealth, peace and prosperity to all,” Aminar said.
