300 Units Of Ford Ranger XLT Plus Special Edition Introduced In Malaysia

The first 20 Ford Ranger XLT Plus Special Edition customers who use the SDAC online booking system will get an RM3,000 fuel voucher.

When it comes to pick-up trucks, few can come close to the desireability, prowess and high-tech ruggedness of the latest generation Ford Ranger. This new generation Ranger has been a huge hit ever since it was launched in Malaysia in the middle of 2022. Now the Ford Ranger XLT PLus Special Edition has been introduced to the range in Malaysia by Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC) in extremely limited quantities.

This new Ranger XLT Plus Special Edition variant brings a host of new features including aesthetic upgrades and new accessories.

Starting with the exterior, the Ranger XLT Plus Special Edition now comes with matte black fender flares and a matte black sports bar and a matte Ranger side decal and hood decal too.

The fender flares widen the car a little and give it a more rugged appearance. There’s a chrome grille between the two LED headlights and 17″ alloy wheels complete the look of this pick-up.

Open the doors and you’ll find new LED scuff plates to welcome you and protect the door sills. You’ll also find pull-out cupholders have been added below the front air vents at either side of the dashboard.

The Ford Ranger XLT PLus Special Edition is available in Absolute Black and Meteor Grey and all the added parts come with a factory warranty.

Only 300 units are being brought into Malaysia, so get yours while you can. It’s being sold at just RM143,888 (on-the-road without insurance) in Peninsular Malaysia and RM149,388 in Sabah and Sarawak. This is excellent value for money considering that it’s just RM1,000 more than the Ranger XLT Plus at RM142,888.

The Ford Ranger XLT Plus Special Edition will be displayed at the Ford Experience Hub at Setia City Mall until 29 September for customers to get up close and personal with the car.
