Audi A4, Model B9 To Come In 2014

There is a new Audi A4 coming in 2014 and it will carry many of the exterior features of the current Audi A8 super sedan. This new car will be 100kg lighter which will have it weighing in below 1330kg. It will use many of the new advanced materials that the VW Group will be sharing across its range. Audi will also introduce its first plug-in hybrid system in this all new A4. It will use two ‘e-motors’ that will deliver a combined 136bhp to the rear wheels.  There’ll be a conventional front-wheel drive plug-in hybrid options too. This B9 A4 will also have a 226bhp 2.0-litre petrol engine married to a 35bhp electric motor that will be integrated in the transmission housing.
The current 2-liter turbo engine will have a225bhp 2.0-litre petrol-fed four and the long overdue high-end 2.0-litre TDI rated at 197bhp and 295lb ft. The Multitronic gearbox will be replaced and all engines will meet the new EURO6 regulations.
