The new Peugeot Landtrek SE is the perfect balance of allure and functionality
Peugeot, part of the Stellantis brand family, unveiled the enhanced, locally-assembled Landtrek Allure and Landtrek Special Edition (SE) at the Malaysia Autoshow 2024. Featuring new accessories and an updated suspension kit for sportier handling, the Landtrek SE embodies the brand’s values of Allure, Emotion, and Excellence, delivering a refined driving experience.
The Peugeot Landtrek SE, designed for both urban sophistication and rugged outdoor adventures, combines SUV features with pickup durability. Its new accessories include Tailgate Dampers, Black Landtrek Decal, Black Wheel Arches, stylish Black Peugeot Tag Bezels, Door Visors, and a Tubular Black Side Step for easy entry and exit.
Moreover, the front is highlighted by a chrome-framed grille, vertical LED daytime running lights, and full-LED headlamps. The Peugeot Landtrek SE boasts a large storage bed measuring 1,630mm by 1,600mm, accommodating up to 2 Euro-size pallets or a 1-tonne payload. Available in Rockstone Grey and Ceramic White, it features 18-inch diamond-cut alloys wrapped in all-terrain tires, ready for off-road adventures.
Powered by a 1.9-litre Turbo Diesel engine making 150hp and 350Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed PUNCH automatic transmission, the Landtrek SE offers a towing capacity of up to 3 tonnes. Its upgraded suspension and new dampers ensure exceptional ride and handling, with an Eaton rear differential lock in 4WD mode for conquering tough terrains.
On top of that, the Peugeot Landtrek SE also has an approach angle of 29°, departure angle of 27°, break-over angle of 25°, and 235mm of ground clearance. The vehicle can handle slopes up to 42° and has a 90 percent ascent grade capability in 4×4 mode, with a rotary knob to switch between 2H, 4H, and 4L drive modes.
Inside, the Peugeot Landtrek SE features a sleek dashboard with a 10-inch infotainment system, three USB ports, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto compatibility. A 360° camera with 3D vision aids manoeuvring, while new Tire Precision Cameras help detect and avoid obstacles like curbs and potholes.
Comfort is ensured with powered leather seats for the driver and front passenger, and a 1328mm-wide rear seat accommodating three adults. Ample storage space totals 27 litres for front and rear occupants. The Peugeot Landtrek SE retails at RM129,124, while the Peugeot Landtrek Allure is priced at RM124,124, both come with a 3-year or 100,000km warranty, whichever comes first.
