Toyota announced that the Land Cruiser 70 will also return to Japan
Toyota Motor Corporation (Toyota) has officially introduced the eagerly anticipated Land Cruiser “250” Series, set to hit the Japanese market in the first half of 2024. The brand also announced that the Land Cruiser “70” is making a comeback in Japan, scheduled for release as a standard model in the upcoming winter, completing the trio of Land Cruiser lineup in Japan.
Originally debuting as the Toyota BJ on 1 August 1951, the Land Cruiser lineage boasts an impressive 72-year history. Its legacy began with a remarkable feat as the first vehicle to conquer Mount Fuji’s sixth station. Since then, it has steadfastly delivered safety and reassurance to adventurers worldwide, catering to diverse terrains and lifestyles.
