Tesla customers can now charge their cars at the famous Pavilion Bukit Jalil
Tesla announces the opening of the latest Supercharging station at Pavilion Bukit Jalil. Since the brand’s launch 8 months ago in July 2023, the electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer has been committed to expand its charging network to provide a more seamless charging experience for the brand’s owners in Malaysia.
The latest Tesla Supercharging station is equipped with 6 Superchargers and 2 Destination Chargers. As of today, there are 6 Supercharging stations and 6 Destination Charging stations in Malaysia, offering a total of 30 Superchargers and 25 Destination Chargers in major cities of Malaysia.
Moreover, leveraging on the peak charging efficiency of 250kW, the Tesla Model 3 can recharge up to 282km of range in just 15 minutes, equivalent to 4 round trips between Tesla Experience Centre Cyberjaya and Pavilion Bukit Jalil. This helps reduce range anxiety in a very effective way.
Cross-country charging in Malaysia and Singapore is now also enabled. With the integrated support for Tesla vehicles and the mobile app, owners are able to effortlessly navigate, precondition the vehicle battery, and access the charging station for a fast and hassle-free charging experience.
On top of that, this includes real-time monitoring of charger availability, charging status, payment, and technical support, among other features making the entire ownership experience much more seamless and very convenient, especially for first time EV owners.
The Tesla Supercharging Station at Pavilion Bukit Jalil is located at B1 car park, Pavilion Bukit Jalil 2 Persiaran Jalil 8, Kuala Lumpur Wilayah Persekutuan, Kuala Lumpur 57000 and is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The Supercharging Rate is set at RM1.25/kWh and the Idle fee is up to RM4.00/minute when the Supercharging station is 100 percent occupied.
